A NOTE FROM PERTH FESTIVAL
RE: EVENT CANCELLATION - 27 February 2020
Tonight’s Disco Event with Mondo Freaks featuring Kylie Auldist at Chevron Lighthouse has been cancelled due to persistent stormy weather.
The entire City of Lights Festival hub will be closed tonight including the Free Stage and Bumpling House.
We realise this is disappointing when added to the news of Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King’s cancellation, however the safety of our customers and artists is always our priority.
A reminder that all tickets for Evelyn Champagne King will be refunded. You don’t need to contact us about your refund, this will be processed by Wednesday 4 March. Funds will appear back on the card used for purchase within 2-5 business days.
A NOTE FROM PERTH FESTIVAL
RE: EVENT UPDATE - 26 February 2020
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond her control, disco queen Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King has had to cancel her appearance at Perth Festival on Thursday 27 Feb at Chevron Lighthouse.
The good news is we will be issuing an automatic refund to your original payment method AND we will continue with our disco party night featuring Mondo Freaks. You don’t need to contact us about your refund, this will be processed by Wednesday 4 March. Funds will appear back on the card used for purchase within 2-5 business days.
While we are disappointed that Evelyn can’t be here with us tomorrow night, we couldn’t think of a better replacement than Kylie Auldist. Best known as the front woman for international smash-hit wonders Cookin' on 3 Burners and soul funksters The Bamboos, Auldist has a vocal that rumbles from great depths.
Described as the high priestess of Melbourne soul, this sublime vocalist is renowned for kicking dance floors into overdrive. And with Mondo Freaks right there beside her, you have a guaranteed night of good times.
This is the last weekend to experience our City of Lights and as a show of goodwill we’re throwing open the doors for FREE. Bring your friends – it’s gonna be fun!
Soukouss Internationale Veritable party starters with an Afro swagger, Soukouss keep the dance floor jiving.
