The Role

As Lighting Technician, you will be part of a team that delivers the highest quality in technical services. You will be a skilled technical operator with an understanding of relevant equipment and systems and demonstrated experience in the use of the GrandMA2 Light console. This position is customer focussed and supports performers to achieve excellence in their field.  You will be required to uphold relevant technical and WHS standards and contribute to the ongoing development of WHS awareness at Perth Concert Hall. In this role you will contribute to the management, development, care and security of the technical equipment at the venue and at other sites as necessary.


Your Skills and Experience

As the successful applicant you will demonstrate or provide:

  • A basic understanding of venue/theatre terminology, etiquette and theatre craft;
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience operating the GrandMA2 Light console;
  • A Safety Construction Induction (White) Card;
  • A National Police Check;
  • The ability to work collaborative within teams and across multiple disciplines; and
  • Test & Tag Certification (is desirable).
