Symphonic Titans

West Australian Symphony Orchestra
Friday 2 & Saturday 3 June, 7:30pm

Asher Fisch, who has built WASO into a formidable Mahler orchestra, returns to the composer’s powerful First Symphony, which opens with sounds of nature before building to a suspenseful and grand finish. WASO’s own Principal Bassoon Jane Kircher-Lindner will also perform Australian composer Andrew Schultz’s brilliant new Bassoon Concerto.
