Music on the Terrace 2020

Welcome to the Music on the Terrace 2020 season! 

Treating you to some of Perth's finest classical music events through the year!

This year you are invited to grab a picnic rug and some friends to enjoy Jazz on the Lawn. For children, there will be a concert of magical storytelling, followed by Easter egg hunts in the garden.

In June, dancing will be brought back to the Ballroom with Winter Tea Dances. And, for the very first time, Music on the Terrace will present two of WA's finest indigenous artists to open the series.

Including a very special evening, nuit blanche long table dinner featuring ABC Duets presenter Tamara-Anna Cislowska alongside artistic director, Fiona Campbell.

Members of the Government House Foundation have access to lower prices on our concerts, and an early priority booking period. 

This year, Members are invited to book from 31 October, with public ticketing opening on 4 November.

MUSIC ON THE TERRACE 2020 SERIES IN REGARDS TO COVID-19

In line with the Federal Government's announcement made on Sunday 22 March regarding the closure of entertainment venues due to COVID-19, it is with great sadness that the promoters of the Music on the Terrace 2020 Series at Government House have to postpone or cancel some of the events in this year's series. 

However there is some good news! Some events will still be proceeding as scheduled.

Please see below information regarding the status of the  Music on the Terrace 2020 program:

♦ The Little Mermaid - Postponed to Easter 2021

♦ Orava Quartet - Postponed to 2021, date TBC

♦  Winter Tea Dance Gala - Postponed to 2021, date TBC

♦ Sydney Piano Competition - Postponed to 2021, date TBC

♦ David Greco - Cancelled

♦ Nuit Blanche - Proceeding as scheduled, 3 October 2020 

♦ Jazz on the Lawn - Proceeding as scheduled, 8 November 2020 

 

Ticket holders for each of the above events, will receieve an email directly regarding the options for their tickets.
