Bach's St Matthew Passion

Johann Sebastian Bach's St Matthew Passion was first heard on Good Friday, 1727. Almost three centuries later this musical masterpiece stands as one of the pillars of Western sacred music. Monumental yet deeply affecting, powerful yet intimate and personal, this performance will have you at the edge of your seat, gripped with drama and transcendent music.
