Giver of heat, light and wonder, fire is a force of nature essential to our lives. At its most basic level, it keeps us warm and fed. But during this hot and dry Australian summer we have seen it at its most extreme; wiping out kilometres of bushland, animals and lives. The unbridled power of this phenomenon has inspired artists and composers around the world for centuries. 

In this one hour concert event, conductor and presenter extraordinaire Guy Noble takes us on a journey that expresses through music fire’s unique ability to consume, create and illuminate a night sky in dazzling technicolour bursts.
