Beginning early last month, One Big Voice (OBV) has been offering music education classes for children who are homeschooled within the Perth and Peel regions. These engaging classes are held inside WA’s most inspiring music venue, Perth Concert Hall, renowned for its world-class facilities.   

OBV Ed’s founders Donna Marwick-O’Brien (OBV Creative Director) and Kiki McCormack (OBV Regional Director) are teaming up to personally deliver fun, interactive music sessions based on the WA Arts Curriculum. Students who participate in these classes will also have the incredible opportunity to engage with musicians from the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

The feedback provided to One Big Voice by parents and students has been overwhelmingly positive. 

“After only three weeks of my year one child attending One Big Voice music education classes, I am already seeing great strides being made in her musical education. Gracelyn is learning and understanding different musical notes, their names, and how to read sheet music. Three age group-based classes (3-5, 6-9, and 10-13 years) are currently available. Parents of young children or children that need a little extra support in learning or social environments are encouraged to stay and join in with their child.

Classes are currently held for 40- and 50-minute sessions between 10am and 12:40pm on Wednesdays at Perth Concert Hall.
