The Organ

Perth Concert Hall's magnificent 3000-pipe organ was designed and built by Australian, Ronald Sharp, for the opening of the venue in January 1973.

With just 66 pipes visible from the auditorium, the entire organ is constructed from zinc, tin, lead alloy and wood, and is controlled by electric and electronic means.

Perth Concert Hall audiences are often presented with organ recitals of works from the 16th to the 20th Century.
